Treatment of nervous and anxious patients and dental phobia (clinical psychology)
The fears of many anxious patients can be alleviated by a professional clinical environment with each stage of treatment properly explained and discussed. We aim to give patients the chance to express any fears and reservations and take treatment at a comfortable pace.
For patients with more severe or complex anxiety, sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy, an evidence-based treatment for anxiety, can be offered with our chartered clinical psychologist. This helps sufferers of anxiety identify and work through their particular fears by talking and careful therapist-guided exposure.
Our clinical psychologist is able to treat a range of problems such as panic disorder and depression. Please enquire about assessment and treatment of other disorders.
