Mr Manjeet Singh Ahlowalia BDS (Guy’s, London)
Following schooling in Harpenden and St Albans Manjeet qualified in dentistry from Guy’s Hospital, London in 1998. After completing vocational training in general dental surgery and working for some years in London, Manjeet worked for three years as a general practitioner in St Albans. Manjeet has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) and has been on numerous postgraduate courses to develop his expertise in this as well as other fields.
Manjeet is a certified invisalign dentist. This new technique for adults straightens teeth by the wearing of a virtually invisible appliance.
Manjeet is also particularly skilled in working with anxious and nervous patients. Over many years, a number of such patients have commented on how Manjeet’s sympathetic and caring nature has helped them overcome their fears.
Manjeet presently teaches clinical dentistry one day a week to 4th year undergraduate students in the department of conservative dentistry at Guy's Hospital. His duties involve providing academic tutorials and clinical demonstrating.
Manjeet established the practice in order to bring a friendly modern service to his native Hertfordshire.

Mr Raj Ahlowalia BDS LDS RCS Eng
Raj qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1991, since which time he has gained extensive clinical experience in cosmetic dentistry, implantology and the use of dermal fillers. He has furthered his education at a number of institutions including the Eastman Dental Institute, London, the Rosenthal Institute, New York and The Pankey Institute, Florida. He now lectures and teaches other cosmetic dentists in the UK and abroad. Raj is a member of the American and British Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry, the leading body for continued research, development and education into the field of aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry in the UK.
Raj is also the dentist featured on the Extreme Makeover television programme.
Amit Dodia
Amit Dodia qualified from the prestigious Guy's, King's and St Thomas's Hospital in London. He has established himself as a friendly and caring professional.
Amit has specialist interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry; this has lead him to train with world renowned specialist Dr Michael Wise in Wimpole Street.
He is currently pursuing an advanced restorative course at the very reputable Pankey Institute in Miami. Amit is another member of the team that provides invisalign (invisible braces).
He has gained a reputation as a very approachable person who is always willing to listen to anyone's concerns.
Outside the clinic Amit is a very keen Cricketer and active gym member.
Mrs Jacky Hart
Jacky trained at the Eastman Dental Hospital (London) as a dental therapist and hygienist, graduating in 2001. As a dental therapist, Jacky is able to perform all types of routine filling work and more complex restorative work on children. Since qualifying, Jacky has worked as a dental hygienist in general dental surgery and as a dental therapist in a community dental service and latterly in a general dental practice.
Dr Fiona Challacombe MA (Cantab) DClinPsy CPsychol
Fiona qualified as a clinical psychologist from the Institute of Psychiatry in 2005, having previously worked in clinical research. She treats a range of mental health problems and has a specialist interest in anxiety and phobias. She currently works in an NHS national referral centre for anxiety disorders, the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma at the Maudsley Hospital, London. |
