Orthodontics
Orthodontics is the speciality of dentistry involved in the repositioning of teeth. This can be either to improve function or aesthetics or both. This procedure is commonplace for children and is increasingly used by adults. Alternative cosmetic options for orthodontic appliances are now available, including ceramic brackets, lingual appliances (placed on the inside edge of the teeth) and invisalign.
